Oarsum by maxgnarcore, 12 April 2016, 7 out of 8 people found this review helpful Very good knee pads a little bit taller above the knee than most which is great if you have long legs. The anatomical construction is perfect the Flexes slot into place and stay put with silicon grippers on the inside and versatile straps top and bottom. The size chart is bang on. The Flexes aren’t bulky or heavy and yet they are much more substantial than Dainese Trail Skins for example. In use they are reassuringly protective and completely unobtrusive I love ’em! Offer good protection, fit well, rub the back a bit. by DirtFarmer, 8 September 2016, 9 out of 12 people found this review helpful I got these from a friend, size medium, made in China been having them for a month now. Put them on every time I’m out for a ride. I mostly ride dirt jump and street, trail when i have a lot of time, will be using them for downhill too when i save enough money for a proper bike. My first impression is they fit really well, very pedal friendly and very comfortable, the bottom part of the pads did rub quite badly on the shin the first time, but it was fine afterwards although the back rubs a bit. If you put them higher on the thigh then they don’t rub as much, sometimes not at all. After a month of use, i notice that the rubber strands inside the elastic bands started to sprung and tear off, i don’t know if they’ll be completely off eventually, i hope not, but time will tell. Also the little logo in the back started to tear off too, most likely due to the pedal, so i just teared them right off. Also I mostly ride with short, but I think they’ll fit in with loose trouser, they have quite a bulk up front so tight pants are not an option. Visual wise they are nice, all black with a blue 7iDP logo, simple and effective, also come with a limited CMYK color scheme, so there’s that. I had a few minor crashes on them, knees hit the ground straight on and felt nothing, and the pads stayed on too. People say they slip on more serious crashes, I’ve yet to find out. They’re easy to clean as well, i’d recommend washing them by hands, the instruction says they can’t be tumble dried so just soak them in detergent for 30 minutes and then rinse them off with water. Would i recommend these to a friend? Yes. Pros: fits well comfortable both sitting and standing nice design doesn’t slip when pedal good protection accurate sizing chart Cons: rubbing behind the knees elastic straps started tearing logo in the back is easily teared off by pedals bit warm in hot weather ( 29-34*c) I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
