Quality, simple to install. by SSRanger, 11 March 2016, 4 out of 5 people found this review helpful Converted my Surly Straggler Franken cross to 1×10 using the rear dura ace down tube shifter with a fireeye 40t cassette expander ring and snaggletooth cx front ring and the existing tiagra derailleur. Used a wolftooth / linderets roadlink to drop the derailleur enough to fit the 40t and it all works sweet. This shifter is clean with a reassuring “click” and it gets a lot of curious comments. Note that only the rear shifter is indexed, the front derailleur is friction-controlled. The levers are dead-sexy, the indexing engages with a very satisfying click, and install was a breeze. 10/10.
