Great price/quality ratio. by Gameon, 19 March 2018, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Mentioning the price of those brakes, I can’t say a bad word about them. The braking performance is good. Compered to some fancy shimanos, the lever feels a bit spongy, but only after squeezing them hard. Overall I have no problems with stopping – I weigh 63kg and use both stock 160mm rotors. I wouldn’t trust them as a downhill brakes, but for xc they are spot-on. The brakes weigh exactly as much as it says in the description (448g – complete pair without caliper bolts and adapters). Rotors are kind of heavy tho, around 120g. It’s a bit sad that it says you can adjust bite on them which isn’t true. They also come with a bit of a rattle on the levers. You could get rid of that by making levers thicker on the linkage, but the rattle is not that annoying. But the thing you have to do for sure is shortening brake hoses. They are way too long for any bike. Overall, I’m happy about the brakes. Pros: cheap good braking quality lightweight Cons: levers come with rattle no bite adjustment I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

No bite adjustment by SheffBazz, 22 February 2018, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful I was surprised that a brake of this price would have reach and bite adjustment, but it was in the description and it is written on the box too. However, once I fitted the brakes I tried to adjust the bite but couldn’t figure it out. Called Clarks and was told the M3 does NOT have bite adjustment. Talk about been mis-sold a product. Overall the brakes are ok but more for commuting not full on MTB. I fitted to an Orange Crush and the rear hose is about foot too long. Hopefully after shortening and bleeding the brakes might perform a little better. Pros: cheap full setup good for commuting Cons: no bite adjustment spongy feel very long hoses I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
