Measurements are incorrect by Homerjay, 25 May 2017, 16 out of 21 people found this review helpful Disappointed in lack of clarification on measurements of the bars. Received them today and was extremely disappointed. CR website does state that the 42cm is c-c at bar ends. But there is no mention of hood measurement. Easton’s website shows that the 42cm size bar is 42 cm c-c at the hoods and 44cm c-c at bar ends. In fact my measurements do show that the bar end c-c is 42, but at the hoods its 40.5! Unfortunately now i seem to be on the hook for shipping it back The star rating is not a reflection of the product itself but does show my diappointment in the lack of info from both CR and Easton I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Very comfortable, vibration damping flex by Strongarm, 18 January 2015, 7 out of 7 people found this review helpful Replaced the standard 42 bars on Focus Cayo with a set of 40’s. I’ve always had issues with numb hands and have found its much improved with these bars. Can feel the flex when sitting on the hoods, a rotational flex which helps dampen road chatter but when pulling / climbing not so noticeable. The ergo straighter top section before the hoods / drops help straighten my wrist angle which I am sure also helps reduce my dead hands. Only complaint, no moulding for cables, so do tend bulge a lot after wrapping, ended up running both cables along the front of the bar to try and keep a rounder profile.
