Good buy by Anonymous, 10 December 2011, 6 out of 7 people found this review helpful Pros: 1) Digital readout. 2) Tracks how much torque you are using when you are tightening the screws. 3) Common bits for bicycles. Can add more if you want to. 4) Ratchet system. 5) Seems well-made. 6) Made in Taiwan, not china. 70 Comes with a cert. Cons: 1) No long bits. Need to buy separately. 2) The warning buzz is a bit soft. It doesn’t stop you when you reach the limit you set. 3) Each time you reach the limit, you need to reset for the next screw. Expensive tool with cheap mechanics inside. by Spark61, 29 May 2015, 4 out of 6 people found this review helpful This torque wrench was intended to be used on high end carbon bikes. The most attractive thing about it was the fact that you can actually see the torque tension increase on the digital LCD display. The fact that it is an expensive tool also made me think it was a fine product. I was wrong. This tool was only being used twice a year for 3 years to retighten the bolts. And that is how much it lasted. Not used more than 10 times and the ratchet gave away. From the start I noticed that while the LCD display and rubber material was well put in place, the chrome material of the tool was not quite finished and resembled a cheap quality tool. THERE IS NO AFTER SALES SERVICING FOR THIS PRODUCT. So if you think you are able to send it in for servicing and recalibration, you are mistaken. To add insult to injury, Topeak don’t care much about customer support. Pros: lcd display on screen indicated tension increase light to carry Cons: cheap ratchet mechanisim short bits need an extension lcd display fades fast. no after sales repairs. eats battery away fast. no topeak support no recalibration I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
