Optimal tube by MichaelUA, 9 September 2014, 9 out of 9 people found this review helpful I’d like to share experience. This is probably the best choice for 29″. I bought these 26″ 2.2″ tubes and use them on 29″ wheels. Regular butil tubes are heavy for 29″ version. But this green one is light and flexible enough to fit 29″ tyres. Of course, you’ll need to top up the air every other day, because it’s latex. Same behaviour as with tubeless setup. But unlike tubeless, this latex choise makes no mess in your kitchen and keeps tyres clean – it’s essential when you change tyres frequently. And no need to worry about tubeless tyres and rims. After using this tube with 29″ you cannot fit it back to 26″, because it adopts bigger shape. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Really does reduce punctures/flat tyres while out riding by MC1orless, 12 February 2014, 7 out of 7 people found this review helpful I have been a bit of a thorn magnet of late and was fed up of changing inner tubes and repairing punctures on every ride. I am riding mainly cross country and single track around the North Downs (Surrey) and have almost new Panaracer Fire XC pro tyres. I fitted these green Latex innerspring and went out riding, whilst it was washing the bike down after the second ride I noticed a thorn in the tyre so I gently pulled it out and the tube stayed up, further inspection I found 2 more so did the same. I was jumping up and down with joy – these inner tubes actually do work. Next day I awoke to a flat tyre. Once removed I could see where all 3 thorns had been rubbing the tube with one of them causing a pinprick hole:-( A standard parkes glue less patch did the trick perfectly. I have subsequently been out and got more thorns so to sum up these tubes have helped in the fact that I have managed to get home with a smile on my face with no flat tyres which is a definite bonus, downside they do go down once you pull the thorns out, I am going to try and leave them in if I get anymore and see what happens. By the way they seem to run a lot smoother than standard tubes:-) I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
