Not waterproof, not worth the selling price by BuritoPurito, 9 November 2014, 9 out of 10 people found this review helpful Bought these new for å£120 about 4 years ago. I use them occasionally for commuting when it’s really wet, but since new, they have not been waterproof and I wish I’d returned them to buy something decent from a company like Gore who understand what the term ‘waterproof’ means. If I wear these trousers in the rain, within about 15 minutes they’re completely waterlogged and ‘shiny’ with wetness. On the plus side, they’re very breathable, so good in light showers – but then they should state ‘water resistant’ and not ‘waterproof’. Did Endura even test these ? 2nd issue is the Velcro strap design to allow you to put them on without having to remove your shoes. Essentially, with the Velcro straps undone and the zip open, the opening is very generous and well designed. But for some reason, Endura decided that most people must have really fat legs and ankles, and it’s not possible to do up the Velcro straps and get a snug fit. This means they’re able to ride up your leg, instead of remaining in place at the ankle. If it wasn’t for this, they would install nicely over the ankle cuff of cycling boots and stop water dripping down into them. All it needs is an extra inch of Velcro on the legs – hardly rocket science is it ? Overall, I could have bought some shower proof trousers for half the price from a number of other companies….. And my last point – Endura, you’re a British company – stop saying ‘Pant’, they’re ‘Trousers’ for goodness sake !! Pros: breathable Cons: not waterproof velcro straps too loose on legs I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Falls apart at the seams by Anonymous, 23 December 2012, 3 out of 4 people found this review helpful The PTFE fabric range from Endura are the Achilles heal of what is a fantastic clothing company. So what’s the issue? Well the glue used to weld the seams to the PTFE material is not fit for purpose. The pockets are not stitched and the first time I put my hands in they went straight through to my legs. Also when you wash them, as per the guide lines, the seam glue just seams to melt slowly allowing the seams to work loose. The design and materials used are not fit for purpose as they should be able to withstand ordinary use and care. This issue was not limited to my trousers as my Venturi II jacket also literally fell apart at the seams. Endura were quick to replace but fundamentally the product is flawed so the replacement is of no use! I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
