Well let me tell you this about this product, because I feel that if you’ve not bought any before you’re really missing out! Theses Shimano Olive inserts are some amazing bits of kit. I mean where do you start reviewing a product like this? Well Lets start here, firstly they,re easy to fit, job done. Secondly they’re made by Shimano and that in its self, is surely enough… But wait theres more. They weigh nothing! I couldn’t believe it… I expected them to be like a whole 100g but when you actually take them out the packet, its like WOW! can that really be that light? If they made theses out of Carbon they would be so sick! Or even made some that were Enduro specific. God the possibilities are endless. Oh and if you see Rat Boy, tell him were all gutted for him. What a race eh? Pros: easy to fit Cons: none I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Not for new M785 brakes by jamiebingferts, 2 October 2014, 11 out of 11 people found this review helpful Watch out ! this insert does not fit the brake hose that comes with new M785 Brakes . CRC says it does in the questions section on this part .The olive is the correct size but the golden barbed insert is too thick , spent ages trying to get it in before I gave up and cut out the warped damaged silver barb from the piece of hose I was replacing and reused it instead , hardly ideal .
