Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:

Excellent replacements for an old fashioned braking system by Radicaljohn, 11 March 2015, 8 out of 8 people found this review helpful These proved to be an excellent upgrade for a worn out set of V-brakes on a classic XC rig. It’s hard to make V-brakes stand out and there’s really no comparison to the performance of modern Disc brakes, however when the running theme of your next rebuild is classic XC bike and you’re stuck without disc mounts – then these pads will offer you the best possible performance. They’re easy to align and wear evenly. The dual compound material gives great stopping force in wet and dry conditions with excellent initial bite. The deep sipes cut into the pad shift water and mud well, although this will diminish as the pad wears beyond these groves. Pros: excellent price predictable grip good initial bite good water and mud shifting ability visually pleasing for a boring component I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Really… Really good pads. by Anonymous, 10 January 2013, 4 out of 5 people found this review helpful OK so what makes these so good? Well the biggest thing I noticed is that the spacers are a little bigger on the inside, meaning that the V arms are naturally slightly furher apart. Having the arms further apart means that you increase the mechanical advantage a bit… giving you more power. Depending on your set up and components, this could be overkill though, and could cause the modulation to be off (ratio of pull to power applied). For my old LX v-brakes with S-wave shimano levers, it has worked wonders. Loads of power in the wet and dry. The compound and construction of the brake is good too.
