bearings too open to elements by Anonymous, 3 April 2012, 4 out of 5 people found this review helpful These came stock on a bike i bought and i am flabberghasted at the price of replacement jockeywheels. I agree with the other posters here; the bearings seem to be far too open to the elements, and on muddy winter rides all the wet mud gets inside them, then when the mud dries inside them they seize up, stopping the whole drivechain from working, unseizing them isn’t a problem however, plenty of water and spray copious amounts of lube into them, crap quality for the price. Rubbish… by Anonymous, 28 November 2009, 4 out of 5 people found this review helpful If these get wet and you leave them for more than a day or so they seize up. You have to clean your bike straight after you’ve used it to stop it from happening which tbh sometimes i don’t (like most other people i too!) SRAM Jockey Wheels – other options
