Good things, small packages by CJquick, 8 August 2013, 58 out of 62 people found this review helpful If James bond was to ever ride a bike, this is the pump he would carry, and you wouldn’t know he was carrying it until he pulled it out to fix a puncture after riding over a landmine or whatever. Like all of the coolest gadgets, it’s small, so small that you may think you forgot to pack it only to realise it was hidden behind some lint in your pocket….Ok, maybe it’s not that small, or maybe you have a sever pocket lint issue, but the point is it could more easily be mistaken for a novelty over-size pen rather than a high pressure pump (up to 160psi manufacturer claimed, I cannot confirm this as this would blow my tyres off their rims#. Second great feature is the threaded flexi- hose that is totally concealed within the pump until you need to use it # that’s some straight up James Bond design right there). This means no more bending valves, and more comfortable pumping. Lastly, the pump adapts for both Schrader and presta, so if you ever find someone in trouble and they’re all like “oh but you use presta, you must only have a presta pump, I use Schrader for whatever reason” and then you can just be “calm down person, it’s not a problem, all fixed” and then they go ” thanks James Bond” probably. Pros: compact schrader and presta compatible dust cap keeps things fresh rubber grip comfy and grippy I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Great but not goof proof. by AndreleGiant, 27 January 2016, 6 out of 7 people found this review helpful I wanted a light, functional pump to stash in my saddle bag for those rare punctures. I was particularly taken by the hose attachment, to take stress off the valve and adapting ‘smart head’. Not that it was likely to be used on anything but presta. I have used it several times with great success, and one failure (where the valve got stuck in the smart head and could only be removed by the destruction of the tyre valve). Subsequent experiments put the blame at my feet for over screwing/tightening the smart head onto the valve. The pump seemed unimpaired by this episode. Pros: clever features small and light weight sturdy Cons: not ‘me’ proof I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
