Grippy, firm, direct, solid. by Anonymous, 19 July 2007, 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful I’ve had these for just over a year and they get the job done. The feel is firm and direct and there’s plenty of grip the waffle pattern provides extra grip and a bit of extra cushioning, which is welcome. I think the waffle pattern is best positioned on the inside facing back and about 45 degrees up, so that it sits in the creases of the palm when gripping, as this seems the area of most contact, but this is just a personal preference. I can’t see any sign of wear yet, so they seem quite hard-wearing. The one negative point is the ODI bar end plugs. They’re easily damaged and can look ropey after a while.
