Great grip and no problems by Shouldknowbettor, 16 July 2014, 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful Smashed these up all over the UK now without an issue. Good grip and a nice size. I think any bigger and my size 9s would miss pins. Pros: light robust Cons: not cheap! I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Perfect match of pedal for a trail bike by gcur1962, 7 May 2016, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful First time for me using a flat pedal in over 20 years on my mountain bike. Last time I used a flat pedal in mountain biking there was a cage around it! To be honest for the first couple of rides I found the transition to a flat pedal difficult to say the least. Most difficult of all was adjusting my foot position on the pedal and also keeping my foot planted over more gnarly terrain! I came off a few times and felt like a beginner again. However after a few more rides and a few excellent tips on using flats from a vet flat tie friend everything finally clicked! It has been an education learning how to ride with the RF Aeffects but I am really loving it now. I can’t believe how well my feet stick thanks to combination of the pins on the pedals and my five ten shoes. Since learning to drop my heels more and push down more on the bike I am riding the steeps almost like a pro – well it feels that way! And what all so surprises me is how well I can still climb using the RF Aeffects. Ok not as super efficient as being clipped in but really not that far off it. I am now a total convert! Pros: great confidence boosting pedal on the steeps light weight and extremely grippy Cons: can;t think of one. sorry! I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
