Now have perfect shifting by NP66, 6 April 2017, 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful I fitted a Tiagra 4700 groupset to my winter bike, but initially used an older Ultegra 6700 front mech which was in perfect condition but after a couple of rides I was having all sorts of chain jams on the front mech and the shift lever didn’t seem to be working. I ordered the 4700 front mech in braze on as it was soooo cheap and I already had a band in the spares box, the mech has a longer arm and seems to need a higher cable tension than the older Shimano 10 speed stuff, after the usual twiddling to get it adjusted it has worked perfectly. Pros: cheap works perfectly I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
