Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:

Absolutely fantastic. by Johnny2509, 23 November 2015, 41 out of 47 people found this review helpful I thought long and hard about investing in a power meter and specifically didn’t want the fuss of having to go through an elaborate calibration process every time I wanted to use my bike, or the complications of swapping the power meter from one bike to another. I wanted something that plugged in and played, a bit like the power meters on the spin bikes in my local gym. These are no cheap at all, but are worth every penny simply because of the build quality, ease of use and metrics they provide. Remember these measure both left and right power. They’re not just a single sided power meter. Set up could not be easier. Just screw the pedal in with an 8mm alan key and that’s it. Yep. Once on the bike, spin the pedals for a few seconds to wake them up and turn on your preferred cycle gps unit. I use the Garmin 520 and the pedals are recognized and paired in less than 30 seconds. Find the calibrate mode in the Garmin settings and you’re ready to go. The cleats are interesting. They’re a little looser that the Shimano sdp – sl cleats and have quite a bit of play. Nevertheless they clip in fine and do the job. To get the best out of the metrics the pedals provide, I use Golden Cheetah and Cycling Analytics software. Both give an array of data that is at the heart of why training with power is the way forward. Add a HR monitor and even more meaningful data is supplied. The pedals come off the bike as easily as they went on. I’m not that confident leaving a set of å£1k pedals on my bike, so I just unscrew them and put them back in the box until next time. These pedals really are the best currently available. Expensive, but a sound investment if you’re serious about taking your riding to the next level and beyond, no doubt about it! Pros: quality simplicity of ues Cons: none I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Great power meter, average pedals by Wisker, 13 September 2017, 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful The cleats on the P1s are by far the worst thing about this (otherwise great) product. They have an inexplicable lip at the back that makes it impossible to easily slide in, meaning you have to kind of lift at the back while sliding in at the front. I can’t explain how annoying it is to have pedals that cost a thousand bucks but perform worse as pedals than any I’ve ever used. You also can’t buy the cleats anywhere, or hardly anywhere, including this website. Why on earth do they sell the P1s without stocking the cleats? And when you do find some random website you’ve never heard of that stocks them, they only come in two flavours: massive float or no float. Still, this is a minor gripe in a product that’s fantastic. The ability to easily switch between bikes, the simple setup and calibration, and the reliable data are all great. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
