For now they’re holding up fine!! by KODAR, 30 July 2016, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful It is late July, and these are my fifth pair of grips this year. I have quite a bit of callouses on my palms, and I do tend to tear through grips quite fast. In the past I swore on ODI Longnecks; they would last me a year. Believing in those, I bought two pairs of the flangeless ones, and wasted both in two months-a lot easier to tear than the ST version. Then I tried Wethepeople and Eclat, and both lasted about a month(both made from VEX). I do ride them until I can feel the metal, just to make clear. These are different. They don’t tear in chunks(like there are bubbles in the rubber), but rather peal in tiny scales and loose far less material than all the rest I’ve tried. Also, the pattern helps to know when they are twisted up, so you know when to fix that so they don’t tear. Two things I did not like. One, the bar ends are useless, being to flimsy. The other is they could have made a smaller inner diameter, so the grip was a bit thicker overall. These are 30mm diameter, just like ODI’s, but are visibly thinner side-by-side. Overall, I’d say these are much finer than most softer grips out there. We’ll see how long they will hold up… I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
