- MRP AMg V2 Chain Guide – AlloyThe newly redesigned AMg is the love child of two innovative and revered product lines, the 1x and XCg. Perfectly suited to the increasingly popular all-mountain segment, the AMg shares the freshly updated “TR” upper guide with the 1x, and adds MRP’s patented integrated skid. The All-Mountain Guide is a great choice for 5-6″ travel bikes when used with the latest tensioned rear derailleurs or on its own for shorter-travel trail bikes or hardtails that require bash protection. The contact-free, “upper-only” chain retention means the All-Mountain Guide will be virtually silent and completely drag-free when pedalling. The patented integrated skid will protect your crank and chainring and prevent the chain from ever contacting and potentially damaging your expensive frame ÛÏWith benchmark quality and feel, the AMg (V2) could be the icing on the cake for enduro riders ÛMBUK, October 2015 Read the full review HERE Features: Perfect for “clutched” 1×10 and 1×11 drivetrains, as well as those using chain-retaining ringNew nylon integrated skid protects chainrings and glides over rocks and obstaclesTracked and grooved upper guide & backplate interface increases stiffness and eases installationNew co-moulded “TR” upper guide with softer durometer interior for silent guidanceAll installation and adjustment operations possible with just a single 4mm HEX wrenchCompatible with chainlines 49mm and widerBuyåÊMRP Components from Chain Reaction Cycles, the World’s Largest Online Bike Store.

Simple and does what i needs to do by Expert, 13 March 2017, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful I purchased this because i started to drop chains almost every ride now and so far its been great!. Bike has clutch type derailer new chain and new high/low chain ring. I had tried the one up components guide aswell but that was a cheap plastic and didnt fit properly so bit the bullet and got this. Straight away the mrp guide oozes quality. I was lucky i have 34t so i didnt need to remove anything took about 10 mins to fit and adjust. Very happy with it Pros: works easy to fit looks cool good quality Cons: expensive for what it is I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
