The product works but is poor quality by Andyxxx, 8 March 2017, 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful I have now broken my third Topeak Defender. This time it broke when I tried to remove the front mudguard (I pushed the yellow button and pulled the mudguard in the correct direction and the poor quality brittle bracket snapped) Not good enough Topeak – You should protect your brand name more – I wont purchase your products anymore. Good mudguards by Stveparaglider, 12 March 2018, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Purchased front and rear Topeak mudguards. Very good design except that the rear mudguard tightening lever broke when I tried to tighten it onto the seat post. Make sure your seat post is a thick one or you can’t tighten it very tight because the size of the clamp is better suited to large seat posts. Chain Reaction Cycles was very quick to replace the guards with new ones. Received new guards within 2-3 days of notifying of fault. Thank you. I will have to add a rubber piece around the seat post clamp when I try to fit the new rear guard . Pros: wide gaurds Cons: rear gaurd tightening screw weak I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
