Quality tape – waiting to see results in action by pgmoir, 17 November 2017, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful After eventually getting rid of the previous glue mess (thoroughly recommend product Stick Stuff Remover for this!), decided to go for this tape for CX wheel, as about the only tape option for this discipline. The tape does one wheel and is easy to apply, BUT be aware that you need to use primer on CX tyres, which is another å£12.99 + å£5 pnp from only one supplier in UK. (Not Chain Reaction). The tape covering did split as we pulled it out after setting tyre in place, which could have been disaster, but managed to pull out from opposite end. Game changer by Elcochino, 2 June 2018 Bought to replace punctured tub that was also stuck with Effetto tape, as was so impressed with its ease of application and more importantly itÛªs strength. Picked up a front wheel puncture during a recent TT just before a very tight but fast left hand corner. Tyre folded and front end washed but tyre didnÛªt budge a fraction on rim so was able to save it. Replacing was a doddle as when youÛªve got the tyre off the tape can be easily removed leaving a perfectly clean surface for the next application. Ordered on the weekend, arrived whilst at work on Tuesday, took 10-15 minutes after work to stick new tub and raced the next evening. Needs a working temperature of at least 21 degrees C so just popped wheel in airing cupboard overnight. I race tubeless for CX but based on this experience I wouldnÛªt have any doubts about using this tape to stick CX tubs. Pros: strong easy to apply and remove Cons: bit expensive but worth the ease I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
