Doesn’t always fit Shimano calipers by GregatNo8, 6 February 2017, 7 out of 8 people found this review helpful They are silky smooth, but do not always fit Shimano products. My 4 year old 105 calipers did not take the cable caps (too wide), and the system only installed by taking off the end caps and therefore not being as well sealed. I also noticed that Jagwire cables supplied on brand new Specialized Allez had the same problem with brand new 105 calipers that I fiited yesterday as an upgrade – I had to take the end cap off the cable outer to fit into the adjuster housing of the caliper. Jagwire need to review the dimensions of their products and those they claim compatibility to. Pros: silky smooth action Cons: couldnt fit using end caps to outer cable I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Does not fit Shimano brakes by David79a, 17 September 2017, 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful The brass cap won’t fit the shifter. The alloy cap won’t fit the caliper.
