Real road feel by Honur, 11 December 2017, 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful I have always been a fan of rollers. When you ride a roller, you should always be focused. So that makes the easiest spin session a workout and that way you stay on track. This time elite connects it with the visual training. Ok, it is not chip as I wish it to be but when you think the value of regular smart trainer this roller value deserves excellent. My first set of Rollers!! by Tugster999, 14 January 2017, 9 out of 10 people found this review helpful I had been considering a traditional turbo trainer before I settled on the Arion B Rollers and I have to say I’m very pleased I chose Rollers. The Arion Digital B Rollers are well made and they paired seamlessly with my iPad (once I downloaded their App, it came with a free years use) this allows me to follow a workout, set resistance and even plan a gps route that it/i follow, brilliant! It also paired with my Garmin 520 with no hitches and my wahoo heart rate monitor. I can use the Rollers with the Garmin too and even set routes or resistance etc. directly from my Garmin. The App also immediately uploads my workout to Strava too!! The roller frame is a hard plastic and at first I was dubious it would be sturdy enough, but I need not have worried. Once set out on a level floor it is very stable and robust. The parabolic Rollers do help greatly with keeping in the middle of the trainer and it’s fairly quiet in operation. They are easily adjusted and come with an informative instruction manual. My top tip would be (for first time users) do your first workout/tryouts in a non clipped shoe/trainer and position the Rollers in a doorway, which adds a great sensei of fall protection when you start out, remember you will be much higher off the floor once riding! Keep looking forward as it helps out with your stability and keep pedalling (the gyroscopic effect of the spinning wheels keeps you upright) but once mastered it’s brilliant very natural feel on the bike. Preferred set up in front of a TV streaming bike rides from YouTube (via chromecast) with a large cold air fan blasting at me!
