Rubbish on road bike by Poggs38, 21 August 2017, 1 out of 3 people found this review helpful Outers are way too stiff, causing caliper not to return properly – too much drag. Ferrules are slightly larger than Shimano or Jagwire. This caused the ferrule to jam in the STI, which I then had to gently drill out. This was after I found that routing the outer cable around the bends of the drops, caused the rear brake caliper to be too sluggish at returning to off state, after applying brake. Real shame as I have been using their MTB gear cables for a couple of years, with no issues at all. Pros: cheap Cons: it doesn’t work with stis.
