Excellent product if wanting to replace hydraulics by Clydy, 18 June 2014, 17 out of 18 people found this review helpful I bought the BB7 160 and 180 along with speed dials and Goddridge cable set to replace my Magura hydraulics because I was so fed up with the failure rate of the Maguras and having to bleed them 3 – 4 times a year! Also, getting parts or servicing them in any UK bike shop was nigh on impossible! Anyway, the BB7’s are fantastic, no more expensive bottles of Magura blood to buy or hours wasted trying to bleed them. I’m sure some hydraulics are OK, but I like to keep bike maintenance as simple as possible. The BB7’s are incredibly easy to maintain and pad adjustment is a breeze. Braking is sharp and the levers are comfortable and positive. Buy em! NB: If you are thinking of buying the latest Avid SL versions because you think they must be better, then think again, save your money. The SLs are just lighter, that’s the only difference. I did a bit of research and also spoke to AVID and ChainReaction and they confirmed it. However, if you’re a weight nerd then go for it! For example the Speed Dials SL weigh 77g and cost å£60 – å£70. The normal Speed Dials weigh 88g and cost å£17.99!!!!! Pros: value for money easy to maintain braking comparable or better than hydraulics Cons: none I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Good customer service by Anonymous, 14 January 2013, 9 out of 9 people found this review helpful Ordered a front 160mm rotor and a BB7 for my MTB. The order came but the IS adaptor that was attached to the BB7 was for a 180mm rotor instead of for the 160mm which I have ordered. I emailed CRC about wrong adaptor size, without much hassle and a week later they sent out the correct adaptor to my house. Their customer service team is polite and responsive, I will gladly order from CRC again. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
