Brooks narrow c13 by Pacef8, 9 April 2016, 7 out of 8 people found this review helpful If your a died in the wool rodie who swears by one saddle fits all and it has to be a flite and always will . This may fit the bill , yes its twice the price but it is very comfy from day 1 . No breaking in, just fit and forget. The nose is little wider than a flite but apart from that i rate it and i dont rate a lot of stuff very highly . Pros: comfy Cons: price I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

My saddle search has ended! by wearthefoxhat, 25 July 2017, 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful After searching for a decent, comfortable long distance saddle for a long time. I think my search is finally over. I’ll start with a slight negative point. If your seat post is at it’s lowest and saddle height is critical, then this saddle isn’t for you. The rails are quite high and will leave you up to 1cm higher than your old one. If you have plenty of movement on your seat post then this won’t be a problem. Nothing drastic, just a pointer. I was recommended this saddle by my local bike shop after going in several times and looking at the huge range they have on offer. Every ounce of my brain said it couldn’t possibly be comfortable. After trying other saddles and spending my last 100 miler standing out of the saddle for the last 50 I decided it was time to bite the bullet and spend the money. Second slight grumble, this is an expensive saddle! The quality is unquestionable though! I’ve just come back from my maiden voyage on it, and it feels great. I think the position is critical to its comfort, and I did stop a couple of times to move it fore and aft, then suddenly, I hit the sweet spot and I forgot it was even there! I will be going for a longer ride later this week, but my first feelings are that I haven’t got the ache in the derriere even shorter rides have left me with. I think a good pair of padded shorts are essential to the ride quality, but the dampening effect of the carbon rails and the hammock feel of the rubber leaves a pretty smooth ride. I will post this review with a view to a re-review in a few months as I have the Brimingham Velo in September which will test its all day comfort. I like this saddle……to be continued! Pros: comfort quality looks Cons: expensive need padded shorts (my opinion) I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
