Look better than they feel. by ScotsBoy, 25 January 2017 These look great on the bike if the bike is going to be a conversation piece in your living room. The down side is when you put gloves or mits on and try to ride the bike. The smooth polished leather is very slippy to the point that, especially in cold weather, it’s hard to hang on to the bars. After two rides out I removed them and put the old rubber set back. They did look great though. Pros: they look fantastic. Cons: slippy polished leather hard to hold on to. Overpriced, but who cares….. by SixtySix, 14 December 2016 Have to be the most over engineered grip of all time, but then it’s got the Brooks name on it, they feel so nice, not sure why you’d need any padding, but will wear gloves with them, just so they don’t get dirty. Comes with a T10 bit to fit them, they are an indulgence, but they were on special…. Pros: brooks obssessive comfortable Cons: over priced.
