Good solid training wheels by James1980, 15 June 2018, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Had for a couple of weeks now and been on a few longer rides, including last ride that ended up rolling down a few miles of unpaved bridal path after I took a wrong turn, no issues whatsoever, totally true out of box and still true. I’m north of 100KG so I properly test wheels. The campag G3 spoke lacing is more than just a gimmick, drive and non drive side have same spoke tension, the result if a very stuff fast rolling wheel, all be it a little heavy in the basic Calima. Cheap & Cheerful Training Wheels by AndySouthDerbyshire, 23 April 2018 Got these to replace an ageing pair of 2009 Scirocco’s, weight wise the front is the same but there’s a 50g increase on the rear which is neither here nor there. Looks wise the black on these certainly is a lot better than the ageing silver on the Scirocco’s. Quality wise the front is ever so slightly out of true but most people wouldn’t even notice, the back was spot on. After the 1st ride both wheels survived some really bad roads without throwing a fit like some do on their 1st outing due to poor tensioning. Only negative and i’m being really picky here is there’s a slight noise whilst braking due to the rim joints being slightly raised but i’ve also seen this on å£500-å£1000 wheelsets as well. So if you’re in the market for some cheap Campag wheels without compromising on quality then these should fit the bill. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
