Best choice for overhaul by maillotapois, 19 July 2018 If you are replacing cranks or feel that they are not turning smoothly, this is likely your best choice. The non-drive side bearing can actually get more wear than the drive side because the axle acts like a lever. I replaced my crank set and the drive-side bearing was smooth like new, but the non-drive side was finished. This cup set includes the non-drive side bearing installed into the cup. It will save you mechanic’s time, especially if you don’t have the right tool to extract the bearing. Another advantage is that the cups come prepared with the thread locker, so they only need to be torqued to spec. A crank replacement (R&R) can therefore be done in 30 minutes or so, since there are no bearings to replace. Includes the seal and spring washer. quality parts, smooth, sharp looking. by johnniemac, 24 March 2018 I purchased the Campy PT cups for the Veloce compact crankset I also recently purchased. Living in Calgary Alberta it has been a long, cold, nasty winter so I have only limited use of cups and cranks on my fluid trainer and rollers. They are as I expected, silky smooth. They are Campy after all. I am sure come spring and I get out side my legs will appreciate the smoothness and legendary quality of the compact Campy crank.
