This set is designed mainly for city riding to make you visible. Front light is sufficient in city but not enough for riding in complete darkness. Overall I’m quite happy with that purchase. Impressed by Ben201, 1 December 2017, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Bought this set to replace cheap lights recently nicked from my bike left at local rail station (thanks you little toe rags!), so I wanted flashing see-me lights for the short run home and which I could quickly detach from the bike & carry with me. For the price I am very impressed with the brightness of both lights & the front is certainly also capable of lighting my way in dark sections of the mostly path / road route home. On flash mode the battery life looks good without going to the extra expense of rechargeables. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
