Installed the Mango colour in my Orbea (with Euskatel Euskadi team colours). Used a Truvativ GXP BB tool to instal, no problems. If anyone tells you that you can’t feel the difference with smoothness of bearing in a bottom bracket, they haven’t tried a Chris King (I had Dura-Ace before). Longevity and maintenance – wise, I can’t vouch, only got a couple of hundred km’s on so far, but I’ve got a road and an mtb CK headset that are both over 10years old, I’ve never touched, other than the instal. The last bottom bracket you will buy by Anonymous, 16 January 2009, 4 out of 6 people found this review helpful Having waited for many,many years for Chris King to come out with a bottom bracket the wait is finally over and I was NOT disappointed! Typical Chris King build quality that will probally outlast your frame! I fitted the gold anodised 68mm version to my Ku and it runs soooo smooth! Superb choice of colours and if you just want a bottom bracket that works then buy this one. Just remember that it’s best to use the Chris King BB fitting tool though.
