Helped with arthritic thumbs by Mr2Ps, 10 August 2015, 6 out of 6 people found this review helpful I use my full suspesion bike for Alpine exploring and quickish downhill rides in one of the biggest and quietest Alpine resorts and my thumbs used to get so sore that I’d need to stop to rest em and then take a day off as well. This year I fitted these grips – a bit uncoventionally I think? – as I positioned them so the majority of the rubber is in the palm of my hand. Anyway I managed the whole 10 days without a break and most runs without the need to stop. Some reason might be that my new bike has better 4 pot brakes needing less pull but I’m sure most of the improvment was the grips. Cons: rubber looks quite worn afer 10 days use I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
For the money a great product by Bart99, 4 August 2015, 6 out of 6 people found this review helpful I fitted these the other day and have been surprised how good they are on my daily ride to work. No thrills just a comfortable grip. The only point I can find is they are longer than the original grips I removed and so the brake lever and the gear lever needed moving down the bars. These measure 142mm end to end where as the old ones were 130mm Pros: price easy to fit good comfort Cons: boring style I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
