Psssschchhh ……. by Dess, 19 August 2014, 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful I have gone through four of these in four training sessions , ran a puncture everytime. Used them for long distance training on rough gravel roads in Sweden. I never had any problems with the “normal” conti mtb tubes. Now if i want to save weight iå«d rather invest in a pair of lighter wheels. And the little time you would save in a race with the supersonic simply wont make up the time for a puncture. Because the puncture will definetely happen! Stupid tube! I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Good lightweight tube by Anonymous, 10 October 2012, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful I’ve been trialling a few tubes, this and the Maxis Flyweight seem to be the lightest around. They’re about the same weight, the Maxis comes with a rim strip, which turned out to be handy when I discovered my rim tape had come unstuck exposing the rough edges of the spoke holes in the wheel. But other than that, there’s not much to separate them. If you want a light tube, you’re probably going to have a slightly higher risk of puncture, I imagine it’s best to run them at high pressure. They’re more than twice the price of a regular tube, but half the weight. I’m not usually much of a weight weenie, but have to admit, the bike feels a bit more zippy with these. Have lost a race due to a palm thorn puncture in the Flyweight, but that would’ve happened with any tube – only tubeless could’ve prevented that one that one I suspect. In summary, if you want a lightweight tube setup, this will do the job well. But then, so will the Maxis Flyweight. And after a bit of testing, I’m thinking tubeless is probably the more sensible option anyway. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
