Grip seems very good even in wet conditions,they do tend to throw a lot of water upwards though when going over 15kmh. Very please with them so far though. A very thin road tire with just enough grip for road and track (without mud). by PipTheBlondOne, 17 February 2017 These continental tires are just 1.3″ wide, reducing road friction meaning faster commuting. I have not noticed a big reduction in suspension quality and am still happy with the smoothness of the ride. The tires replace 1.5″ road MTB tires which had degraded badly on the side walls. I will certainly have to buy thinner inner tubes in the future, if pucture resistance does not hold up in the tires, because my present tubes are for standard MTB studded tire widths. Happy with the price and quality of the tire. Continental tires attracted me because they tend to get good review write ups. Pros: supper thin mtb road tire. Cons: mtb inner tube width.
