In a love/ hate relation by Mike32, 20 October 2015, 18 out of 18 people found this review helpful I’m really into crank brothers pedals. After trying a pair for the first time I never wanted to use shimano again. They clip in so easy, and you can clip out easy too. It’s only happened like once that they unclipped without me wanting it (when I did a whip), so that’s not a problem. With crank brother pedals, you can have the best of both worlds. You ride clipped in with all of its advantages, but you can still go foot out flat out whenever you want and clip in easy fast enough afterwards. The only big down is the durability. The pedals usually don’t last as long as shimano ones, and you need to change cleats a lot. Luckily there are rebuild kits available to buy which you can use to make them as new again. Make sure you take them apart often, clean and apply new grease to make them last longer. Even with their faults, I still love’em, and if your thinking about switching to crank bros, just do it and you wont regret it. Ride on. Pros: feels so good! easy to clip in and out foot out flat out is no problem Cons: bad durability I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Great Pedal but Flawed by Jenk0s, 12 February 2015, 15 out of 20 people found this review helpful The pedal was great for the first maybe 10 hours of ridding before it started to develop side to side movement in both and a creak in one (they were on a trail bike so not abused). I decided to take off the caps and tighten them up, so one end cap wouldn’t budge and the plastic line deformed so that it cannot hold a screw driver anymore, on the other pedal I managed to get the cap off but the nut would spin on the spindle and not move, even when there was an allen key in the other end. It may just be me, but my pedals were pretty rubbish which was unfortunate, seeing as they looked and felt so nice when they were working, hoping this was an issue with just my pedals and no one else’s.
