Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:

B-E-A-Utiful! by Neezurt, 23 February 2016, 13 out of 13 people found this review helpful I replaced my FSA SL-K (the heavier Di2-ready model) with this in 31.6mm, largely because I wanted to save some weight and have slightly less set-back (the Deda’s is around half that of the FSA). I’m running Ultegra Di2, so I needed Deda’s very affordable bung (19g) in addition. This fits perfectly up the seatpost and it has perfectly held the (51g) Di2 battery without any need of spacers for the past 2,000km. The seatpost itself weighs in at 191g (so lighter than the FSA it replaced.) Atop this seatpost sits my carbon-railed Specialized Toupe BG. Being quite stiff, I definitely used to feel some road vibration, but on the Superleggero, ‘road buzz’ through the sit bones has been pretty much eliminated – though that might be that the clamp fits the rails far more centrally than before thanks to the reduced set-back. (That’s just my ‘fit’, of course.) Many people complain about the Superleggero’s ‘fiddly’ head – but I cannot understand why! There is a front tensioning screw which, okay, may need a few minutes’ trial and error in order to get the tilt angle of your saddle set how you like. But once set, you then simply tighten the rear (conventional) bolt and it’s finito for this ‘once-in-a-long-while’ job. While the cutaway in my Toupe saddle made the front bolt adjustment very easy (you just stick a hex key through the top of the saddle’s cut-out), I can’t see it would be that difficult if you had to side an L-shaped hex key in from the side – it’s basic stuff! The big bonus, however, is that this type of system allows infinitesimal adjustment so that you can get your seat angled ‘just so’. The Deda Elementi Superleggero RS looks beautiful in my opinion (mine is black on black [BOB]) and the only thing I can say against it is that there’s no vernier for taking a height reference. You’ll have to mark it with a paint pen, or add a small sticker. Pros: beautiful look very lightweight (31.6 = 191g) superfine tilt adjustment (and it’s easy!) reduced set-back for those who need it mine (31.6) has good compliance Cons: no height vernier I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Brilliant upgrade by Stitch1234, 20 September 2016, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful Opinion seems to be split on whether a carbon seat post is a worthwhile upgrade. In my view the Deda Elmenti Superleggero has improved my bike over the standard Cube seatpost no end. This is the first upgrade that I have done to my bike where I can genuinely say I can discern an improvement. The only negative is that the clamp design makes setting up the saddle angle a fiddly job (much patience required) and I found that in my eagerness to avoid having to loosen bolts off and try and adjust again I had not adequately secured the saddle (tightening the bolts on the clamp alters the saddle angle and the adjuster on the front of the clamp is difficult to get any purchase on once the rear bolts are tightened. The trick seems to be to tighten the front adjuster first accepting that the saddle will be in the wrong position at this point and then tighten the rear bolts). Pros: improves comfort light weight Cons: clamp design makes adjusting saddle fiddly don’t forget the carbon paste! I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
