Disappointed with the components and build quality by JReinhart, 11 April 2018, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful This bike is only a small step up from a walmart bike. I was surprised with the low quality components. Sprockets, levers, pedals, it’s all pretty much chinese walmart bike quality stuff. This model was in the same price category as Redline and Haro bikes in the same size and class. On paper, the specs looked the same so I decided to go with the DK Swift and save 50 bucks or so. Big mistake. This bike should be a $150 bike, not $300. Had I taken the time to find some online reviews or physically seen one in a shop I would not have chosen this bike. The build quality was also annoying. Brake levers were installed on the wrong side. Things were overly tight. I’ve been super happy with all or my purchases from Chain Reaction but this DK was a huge dissapointment.
