If you have a ROTOR 3D+ crankset this is for you! by CAAD10Guy, 30 March 2016, 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful I was tired of messing with BB30 and the eternal creak. After a lot of research I stumbled on this BB from E Thirteen. A few emails between them and CRC I took the plunge. Warning – on a road bike with a BB30 shell this will only work with a ROTOR 3D+ crankset. The cups on this BB are on the OUTSIDE which adds significant width overall. The ROTOR spindle is wide enough and thus fits. Now it’s like having BSA/ITA style BB cups but in a BB30 shell. No creak, super stiff and easier to service. Pros: super stiff combined with rotor 3d+ crankset no bb30 creak! Cons: you need a specific bb install tool ‘only fits rotor 3d+’ crankset’ for road usage I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
