No more chain dropping on dual chainring by Craigdk, 4 January 2018, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful I bought the BB mounted version. It does work as it is supposed to, BUT it took a bit of force to get it to sit correctly. Fitting the guide as per the pamphlet left the roller cage too close to the outer chainring, and would not allow the the crank to turn. So, after playing around with BB spacers and realising none would solve the problem, I fitted as per instruction. THEN physically forced/pulled the roller cage away from the chainrings by pulling it away from the bike. The roller is now perfectly aligned with the chainrings and very quiet to run. Great once fitted by SGuthrie91, 12 November 2015 A real pain in the behind to fit, whilst you figure out how many spacers you need! I found that a pin from my crank was rubbing with one of the mount bolt heads so I had to use one less spacer on that bolt. Now that it’s on, I don’t even notice it… Other than my chain derails much less often. It’s improved from almost guaranteed to derail, to derails 1 in 10 times Pros: effective looks smart fairly light Cons: tricky to fit I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
