A great set of rollers, especially if you need to store them away by twinkUK, 27 December 2016, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful This my first set of rollers so I don’t have anything else to compare them to, but I’ve been very pleased with them over the month that I’ve had them! I’ve also found them much easier to get to grips with than I had feared, and it’s really helping with my balance and general smoothness I diid wonder to start with what the “floating” part of this was and what it would feel like – there are 6 rubber “feet” (one at either end of each roller) which are curved like a section of a wheel, which allows the whole unit to move gently an inch or so back and forth. It does so in response to the force and smoothness of pedalling – the smoother you are the less it moves. I thought this would feel strange but it doesn’t at all, it feels very natural and certainly smooths things out. On a solid wood floor it’s absolutely rock solid and stable It’s very quick and easy to fold away and back out again, although you do need to be careful not to trap the bands between the roller ends and frame when opening it back out as they have a tendency to get pinched at the front of the rear section. It folds down to about as compact as any roller is going to be able to The unit is mainly plastic but feels good and tough and like it should last well The rollers are pretty quiet in use, although swapping to a trainer-specific tyre made a massive difference – much less vibration and noise than normal road tyres, which had also started to leave a black stripe around the rear rollers within a matter of days. The wider ends of the parabolic rollers have saved me a few times, nudging you back into the centre if you’re in danger of riding off the sides The built-in step sort of works but is extremely slippery when wearing carbon-soled shoes so a bit of care is required! I might put a strip of rubber or something on there to make that less precarious I haven’t actually used the 2 higher resistance settings yet as I’ve found using the gears on the bike sufficient so far, but I’m sure that will come in handy as I progress NB If you’re intending to use the Misuro B+ sensor with these rollers to transmit power/speed/cadence data then you don’t need to instal the magnet that is supplied with the sensor. The rollers already have one fitted as I discovered after dismantling them to get at the ends of the rollers themselves. It’s therefore simply a question of sticking the battery in and popping the sensor into the specific recess on the inside of the left frame just behind the middle roller Pros: quiet well built easy to fold up and down compact when folded away Cons: more than i intended to spend but worth it I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

Good set of rollers by robhunny, 11 October 2017, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Very pleased with these, although it is my first set of rollers I’m really enjoying using them. My original reason for buing was for warming up priort to TTs and triathlons as they fold up to quite a compact package. I have a Wahoo Kickr but these provide a refreshing change from the smart trainer and would highly recommened them to break the monotony of indoor training and allow you to do some sorts of workouts/drills you couldn’t do on a smart trainer. I was concerned you wouldn’t be able to get much resistance but no problem at all and that’s on the minimum resistance level. Pros: narural feel Cons: drive belts can get tangled when folding away I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
