Excellent by Anonymous, 1 February 2013, 22 out of 25 people found this review helpful My first trainer and quite impressed, especially at the discounted price. First impressions are that it is built well, pretty straightforward to put together/adjust and simple to attach your bike using the QR skewer supplied. Noise seems pretty low. Variable resistance curve is excellent from spinning to pretty darn tough. Only criticism is that, for me, as soon as I get out of the saddle to sprint the resulting weight shift causes the wheel to slip significantly. Perhaps I’m missing something? Aside of this, it’s sturdy and reliable and gives a decent, low noise workout. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
great value, easy to set up trainer by Anonymous, 13 March 2013, 18 out of 20 people found this review helpful I picked up one of these from CRC at a ridiculously low price, having dithered about whether to invest in a turbo trainer or not. Having just had an operation on my hip, I decided this was the perfect opportunity to get one, as part of my rehab program. It`s fantastic; v. easy to set up, plenty of resistance settings and with a training tyre fitted, v. quiet too. I`d recommend getting the riser block for the front wheel and a proper training tyre for maximum comfort + minimum noise. CRC staggeringly efficient as always. Recommended.
