Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:

Finally, a jacket that works! by CJaMTB, 14 December 2017, 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful I’ve spent a long time, and not a small amount of cash, trying to find a jacket that genuinely is waterproof and breathable, and have finally found one! I’ve waited to write this review, because I wanted to actually use the jacket in some proper UK winter conditions, on a lengthy XC ride, so as to be able to give a genuine review. So, after a few rides, last Friday I headed out onto Dartmoor just before first light. The temp was below zero, so I had three layers under the jacket (an A-stars core vest, a UA short sleeve compression top with 661 sleeve armour, and an Endura Single Track long-sleeved jersey). I was carrying my usual pack, weighing around 5-6kgs. The temps rose to just above freezing, and I encountered everything to bluebird skies, rain, hail, and driving snow during the course of the day. I covered 45kms and was out for just over 6hrs. First up, I love the look of the jacket, but it does look and feel like a VERY thin material in places. It has three very useable pockets, two of which can be opened to your chosen width for extra venting, if needed, but they are deep enough to still retain whatever you’ve put in them. The third pocket is smaller and doesn’t vent, but does contain a hole through to the inside of the jacket, allowing for music to be piped through if desired. There are two HUGE pit vent zips, which open from each end; a very handy feature if you are wearing a pack and want maximum ventilation. The hood is big enough that, during some of the downpours I have experienced, it will JUST fit over my Giro Chronicle (size M) and still allow the jacket to do up fully, which was a very welcome feature in the driving snow! There are wrist gaiters inside each sleeve, with a thumb slit, allowing gloves and sleeves to interlock, which I was very grateful for when wearing my big, winter gloves before dawn. It made getting the gloves on and seated well inside the sleeve much easier than on some other jackets I’ve tried. The hem drawcord is great for keeping the jacket sat low on your bum, even through pretty arduous riding, and the silicone grip pattern on the shoulders kept my pack firmly seated, even on some very fast and rough descents. All of that is great, but for me this jacket stands out because it kept me dry. I don’t just mean that it stopped me getting wet when it rained, which it did well, but it is the only jacket I have EVER ridden in that didn’t give me the ‘boil in the bag’ effect of drenching my clothes in my own sweat. The ventilation options are such that you have a range of choice, depending on the weather, and the material itself really works to keep you dry all the way through. On my pre-dawn epic, I did finish with a SLIGHT sweat patch under my pack, but I don’t think any jacket will ever prevent that, but otherwise this jacket is hands down the best I’ve ever ridden in. I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who is serious about needing to stay dry when they ride. Pros: light. highly breathable. waterproof. good size hood. more ventilation than an open top bus! Cons: expensive but you get what you pay for.
