Excellent saddle for everyday trail riding by Jamz, 20 February 2017, 5 out of 6 people found this review helpful This saddle is of excellent quality and has a little bit of cushion and vertical flex for comfort. Can be used without padded shorts. So far it has been used hard for many months with no signs of wear. Tried Fizik and Brooks C15 and C17, settled for this one due to better comfort for the long days. Very easy to get behind the saddle for descending. Comfy saddle by handynzl, 27 February 2017, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful Bought this saddle to replace a SDG Circuit Mountain that came with a bike as OEM fitment. The SDG, whilst a nice looking saddle, became intolerable to sit on after anything more than 90-minutes. The Ergon SMA3 in medium width has extra padding on top, and is slightly wider, all in all offering a much more comfortable ride. My first outing on it was a 7hr ride for an Enduro race and I didn’t have an issue with it at all. If you have a saddle with hot-spots (like the saddle rails are digging into you), then I recommend this Ergon saddle. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
