Great Classic Look by AnotherPaul, 3 April 2014, 9 out of 10 people found this review helpful I have the Soft Touch on one bike (bought in error) and the Standard on another. The standard looks really good and suits the age of my bike well (1984). The soft touch I’m not so keen on, one for the look but also because the edges have lifted around the outside of the bends – it’s as if I couldn’t get enough tension into the tape as I was wrapping it but this was definitely not the case. I also bought the bar gel set and think it’s a bit of a waste of money. Doesn’t seem to improve comfort when riding without gloves that much. In summary: Standard, highly recommended for a classic Soft-Touch, not recommended. Bar Gel, not recommended. Pros: looks good (standard version) Cons: edges loose on soft touch version I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
