Just the job. Almost. by Steve996, 23 February 2017, 5 out of 5 people found this review helpful I bought this to use a Shimano 5700 105 Crank on a BB30a bottom bracket on a CAAD12. After fitting the adapter to the pressed in bearings, and finally installing the crank the front derailleur wouldn’t quite adjust at the low end (this might be a specific issue with this frame) and the cranks couldn’t be tightened enough laterally to remove play in the crank. I bought a 2mm spacer to put in the drive side and everything is now perfect. In fairness the adapter is sold as an adapter for mega expo cranks so maybe shimano cranks aren’t quite the same.
