wrong crc recommendation by SteveAG, 29 July 2018 After 2 years my steering was beginning to grumble. Examination showed that the top and bottom stem bearings were rough so needed replacement. CRC suggested suitable replacements, suggestions needed as the original bearings had no markings. This one was not correct and had to be returned. Perfect replacement for my Boardman Hybrid race headset by 3starMotorsport, 16 July 2018 Excellent product and a perfect fit for my bike.However,until I stripped down the headset,I didn’t know what bearings I needed.(I did contact a number of sources for bearings but,no luck without part numbers.Corrosion on the bearing race made it difficult to read the part numbers,so tried citrus oil to remove the muck without removing the numbers.Luckily it worked.No problem removing the old ones and replacements fitted without any issues Pros: perfect fit I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
