Be aware that this is a permanent fixture by lanceb, 28 August 2015, 11 out of 15 people found this review helpful I dont’t agree with CRC’s reply that this adapter slides out if you wish to removal. It will not. It needs to be installed with a bearing press and it’s a very tight, snug fit. Of course it needs to be. Once installed it’s there for keeps. This concerned me because I later learned that the Praxis PF30 to GXP BB is an easily reversible solution and the solution recommended (I learned this too late) by my frame manufacturer. So I now have this FSA threaded adapter permanently installed in my very expensive carbon Stigmata frame. I researched how it might be removed (if required) and it seems only a pull hammer might do it, and this would destroy the adapter and I suspect damage the frame. It does appear to work reasonably well with my SRAM GXP threaded BB, but there is no going back, so the Praxis option is now closed and I have a frame with a threaded BB for better or worse. My bike is still in build stage, so I can’t comment yet whether I’ve messed up installing this adapter or not. I won’t know for sure until I try it on the road. I will update this when the bike is complete. Pros: high quality manufacture Cons: irreversible I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
