Here are just a couple of interesting reviews that we picked out from verified customers:
Great little Garmin, brilliant display, bags of features…. but not for an all day ride by TFBCycleTeam1, 11 June 2018, 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful This Garmin has everything you could need in terms of data including a power meter, HRM, bluetooth phone connection, weather info and decent navigation. In fact it would be the only Garmin you ever need, if only the battery lasted. The good: Crystal clear screen, much much better than any other Garmin on the market – including the colour screens. Huge choice of data screens from one data field to 8 you can take your pick. Navigation is breadcrumb but so much better than previous incarnations. it gives you warnings of turns ahead, clear but simple map direction / road image SMS and missed / call messages on screen Really clear incline map for the road ahead, when using navigation Bluetooth sync of activities, so no more cables and a computer to upload your ride. Size is great – small but easy to read. The bad: Be aware of the battery, don’t believe the published stats of 15 hours battery life. If you are navigating / using courses, have your phone connected, a HRM and cadence /speed monitor connected you will be very lucky to get 7 hours out of it so this is not a device for long / all day riding. The best I could get out of it was with no HRM, no phone connection, no navigation, no alerts just simple tracking of the ride with on screen stats and a cadence sensor. Like this it just about lasted 6 hours 50 mins – moving time – on a very warm 20 degree day. To be fair the elapsed time on that ride was 8 hrs 42 but by the end the low battery warning was on the screen as it was ready to give up. Buy if you ride short, avoid if you want an all day / 100 mile + tracker, which is a shame as in every other way its great. Pros: features – more than you ever need fantastic screen weight = light size = neat and tidy good navigation – via breadcrumb Cons: battery no audio alert for when off course battery life I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
not the cheapest, but one of the best by kraeon, 31 May 2018, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful a very tidy unit that works very well with lots of room to customise the info on display. might not be the cheapest option out there when comparing features, but put simply it’s worth the extra money. Pros: excellent build quality tiny great battery life loads of customisation options bluetooth phone connection highly water resistant Cons: not the cheapest a little confusing to first set up I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
