It never goes higher than 150 and my max is 193 and rides measured with strap is not comparable to this watch. So i do not trust the low heart rate at 100%. So far – so good. by Plodder7, 10 July 2018 Overall I like this watch. It’s not too bulky and is light on the wrist. I’ve small wrists and normally don’t wear a watch but I’ve no issues wearing this all day. Don’t really bother wearing it at night and to track my sleep – I can usually tell if I’ve had a bad night – as can most of my colleagues. What I like is that it’s super easy to operate, the GPS locks in reasonably fast and there’s different modes for different activities. Also the Garmin Connect app is pretty nice. What I’m still iffy about is the HRM – it seems to take a long time to lock on – way longer than some of the other HRM’s I’ve had in the past. Even with a Wahoo ant+ chest strap it seems to be a little flighty. That said, overall the rate reported seems to be reasonably accurate. It’s still early days and could well be a question of me getting used to it. Another small peeve is that the data is displayed without units so you need to learn what the numbers on the watch face represent. This won’t take long but I would have expected that including the units like “bpm” would not have been an issue with the resolution of the screen. Pros: easy user interface. not bulky. can also connect to a hrm chest strap Cons: hrm takes time to report an accurate reading. a tad pricey data is displayed without units I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
