It refers to the Hayes website, where all I found was a video. It explained things quite well, but I had to run through it to find the part specific to my model. A bleeding pain! by Black0960, 27 May 2016, 3 out of 16 people found this review helpful Purchased this kit to bleed my Shimano XT brakes but found it to be a bit messy. The kit contains all the bits you’ll need to cover most brakes but the read on the part used to screw into the bleed port on my XT levers wasn’t tight enough which results in fluid leaking out rather than being pushed in to the upper syringe. The best way I found to get over this was to remove the syringe plunger from the top syringe and just use it to catch the flip pushed through the system from the bottom syringe. I’ve now ordered the specific Shimano bleed pot to use in conjunction with this kit which should fix the problem. I’d suggest you save some money by buying the å£3.95 Shimano bleed pot and a good quality syringe rather than spending over å£20 on this kit.
