Good product, if you have 180mm or less PM fork. by Anonymous, 6 June 2012, 6 out of 7 people found this review helpful The +20mm is not +20mm of your IS brake setup, it is +20mm of what the PM fork is made for! So if your fork is made for 180mm, you need 180mm+20mm= 200mm disc. If your fork is made for 200mm and there is no 220mm disc for your caliper, do not buy this adaptor! IS Caliper to Post fork , Post fork to IS Caliper by nrs950xtc, 25 August 2014, 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful IS Caliper to Post fork +20mm Adaptor AKA Post mount fork to IS Caliper +20mm Adaptor after switching from a old manitou skareb running a 180 rotor to a set of rockshock rebas with 180 rotor my brakes would not work it turned the old Giant IS Caliper to Post fork adapter was to small, to fit a 180 rotoron my new forks so i got one of these an my lbs fit it without any trimming so im thinking the skareb must have 8″ size post mount legs an the rebas 6″ the normal standards are 6″ 160 rotor an 8″ 180 rotor but as the giant adapter only looks about 10mm shorter then the hope 20mm the skarebs may be 7″ post mount legs an the giant adapter 10mm if i am wrong please tell me underneath this post, thank heavens for Hope an crc, when you search the net an certain sites it keeps pointing youi towards is fork to post mount caliper adapters, when this is the one your searching for, why are there not more companies making these? an why are they 2 to 3 times more exspensive then post to post mounts an rear is to post etc, an the only colors ive found are grey an red there should be more choice of colors an they shud be cheaper But at least hope an a few companies from china/tiawan are making these or we would have to buy new brakes or new forks Pros: hope supports this tech others dont bother post uk Cons: there should be more choice of colors an they shud should be cheaper should be more choice of colors I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
