Because your bike is worth it by maxgnarcore, 14 August 2017, 5 out of 5 people found this review helpful The HBSP 325 bracket works perfectly with my E4s and X0 9sp grandad shifter. If you unclamp your Tech 3 levers you’ll see there’s a hole in the lower section and a recess for the bracket so it’s virtually invisible. The fixing for the shifter pod is slotted which could be useful if you have small hands because the shifter can be mounted even closer to the grips. In use the shifter feels more solidly mounted than it did with the SRAM clamp and a bit crisper because of that. One micro-niggle is that it’s no longer possible to change the rotational position of the shifter with respect to the brakes but I guess most people run them parallel anyway. Cosmetically it’s a much better solution than the shiny SRAM clamp which looked strange with the X0’s black body and satin levers. I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
Does a good job by RichyK, 29 July 2015, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful These are expensive but do a good job. Due to the design of the new Tech 3 lever (as opposed to tech evo i had before) i could not get the discrete shifter clamp in a good place. One of these solved the problem. Something not Hope and not obvious to me until this piece of kit: SRAM shifter pods offer two bolt positions. One is blanked off by a screw in the factory and ships with only one hole obvious. To move the whole shifter left and right, swap the blanking screw into the other hole. Pros: puts it in a good place laterally Cons: does not give choice in vertical plane price I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
